How do I apply to the Adoption Support Fund (ASF)?

Key documents: 

  • Service Categorisation Guidance (downloadable) - This document provides further detail to enable you to select the correct service category option on the application form. This also details therapies that are in scope of the Fund and those that are not - this list is not exhaustive and is updated as new therapeutic inputs are approved.
  • LA Application 'How to' Guidance - This document provides a step by step guide of how to use all aspects of the ASF portal for Adoption, SGO and Intercountry applications. There are helpful screenshots and detailed instructions included.
  • Fund Terms and Conditions - A new set of terms and conditions have been developed which will be implemented from 1st April 2017.  The document clarifies the roles and responsibilities, in particular around financial management and safeguarding against fraud and theft.

  • ASF Webinars Q&A - The questions and answers result from the ASF Webinars held during March and April 2017. The webinars were designed to introduce Local Authorities to the new ASF Portal and demonstrate how to create and submit an application.
